Cross Selling for cart and checkout

Basically, there are two ways to run a cross-selling marketing campaign. If you have already assigned cross-selling products to your products, you can set the marketing campaign to automatically suggest these assigned products in the checkout. campaign so that these assigned products are automatically suggested in the checkout. The other option is to assign individual cross-selling products in the marketing campaign or to use dynamic product groups.
In a cross-selling campaign, a distinction must be made between "trigger products" and "cross-selling products". "Trigger products" are those that must be present in the shopping basket in order to trigger a cross-selling suggestion. "Cross-selling products" are those that are suggested to the user as suitable products.
If you want to use dynamic product groups for "Trigger" and "Cross-Selling", these must be created before creating the campaign.
The first thing to do is to create a "Dynamic Product Group", which defines which products should be part of the marketing campaign. This can be found in the Shopware Admin under "Catalogues - Dynamic Product Groups". Next, the first campaign can be created under "Marketing -> Cross-Selling Checkout".
To create a campaign, at least a "Name", "Name of the discount in the shopping basket" and a "Cross-selling type" must be stored. Depending on the Depending on the "cross-selling type", products or dynamic product groups must then be assigned. If the campaign is to be used directly, it must be set to "active". The running time of the campaign can be controlled automatically by means of start and end dates. However, the campaign must also be set to "active" beforehand.
Optionally, a badge text can be activated for all cross-selling products, and the background and text colour can be controlled. In addition, cross-selling products can also receive a discount that appears as soon as a matching trigger product is in the shopping cart.
