Before you start, your environment should meet these requirements.

System requirements

Shopware	6.7.0.0 or newer
PHP	8.2 or newer
Permissions	Administrator access to the Shopware backend

What you should bring

• Products that should be configurable. The configurator is assigned to individual products (variants inherit the assignment of the main product).

• An idea of your form. Think about which details you need from the customer (e.g. dimensions, colour, material, engraving text) and which of them affect the price.

• For price-effective configurations: the dimensions and prices of your products and options.

No technical knowledge required

The configurator is operated entirely in the Shopware backend. You need neither theme adjustments nor programming skills. Only the optional formula benefits from a bit of logical thinking – we explain it step by step with examples.
