Storefront

This section explains how the Product Configurator behaves in the storefront. It covers what customers experience on the product page, in the cart, and during checkout.

While you build the configurator in the administration, this is where its customer-facing behaviour takes effect. It defines which price is shown and calculated, how entered values move into the cart and order, and how customers can save or share their setup. For the setup in the administration, see Managing configurators.

In this section

  • Pricing and cart – Learn how the configurator recalculates the price live, transfers the entered configuration into the cart and checkout, and validates required fields.

  • Save and share – Learn how customers save a configuration, share it with a link, and reopen it later, including cleanup and data protection.

Tip: Both features can be controlled per sales channel. Check the plugin configuration.
