# SCHUFA Credit Report
With the SCHUFA Credit Report, online shops receive a reliable decision-making basis to effectively control economic risks in digital commerce. The real-time assessment of customers’ creditworthiness helps reduce default rates and detect fraudulent activities at an early stage.
Based on an individual’s credit rating, payment methods such as purchase on account or SEPA direct debit can be automatically activated or restricted. Risk-prone payment options are therefore offered specifically only to those whose payment ability has been assessed accordingly.
