# API
**Welcome to the API documentation for the Wishlist Plugin.**
This plugin extends the Shopware 6 functionality by adding wishlist management features accessible via the Admin API. It allows developers to programmatically create, update and manage wishlists and wishlist items.
The API is designed to integrate seamlessly with custom workflows, third-party systems, and administrative tools, following Shopware 6 standards and best practices.
